Floor Lamp - Edfeldt

Floor lamp in brass with white corrugated cotton shade.

Edfeldts is in its construction typical of the late 19th century, although it is slightly thinner than floor lamps in general were at this time. The relatively large textile screen with a flat slope and a vertical end is also typical for the period but was usually fitted with fringes at the bottom. The lamp is adjustable in height.
