This bulb (LED) is installed in one of the two screw holes in the switches to provide a backlight in stairwells or in public areas where there is a switch that needs to be easily found in the dark. The bulb fits in switches with two screws in the series black bakelite, white bakelite (duroplast) and white porcelain.
