Place mats with pattern by the designer William Morris (1834-1896). Place mats come with back in grey felt. Made in Sweden. In the price 2 mats are included.
William Morris was active in the late 19th century as one of the premier figures in the British Arts and Crafts movement. He is mostly known for designing distinctive wallpaper and textile patterns that are still in production.
The Strawberry Thief pattern was designed in 1883 and is one of Morris most famous patterns. He got the inspiration for creating the pattern when he found thrushes stealing fruit in his kitchen garden of his countryside home, in Oxfordshire. The pattern is filled with birds and strawberries mixed with leaves and flowers, on a dark blue bottom.
Eco-labeled with FSC certification, which stands for the Forest Stewardship Council, an independent, international member organization that works for environmentally-friendly, social responsibility and economically viable use of the world's forests.
Size: 40 x 30 cm.
Wipe the placemats off with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid contact with water and never clean under running water since the lamination can not withstand moisture. Place mats come with back in grey felt.
