The clean lamp Ankarcrona has a design that became very popular in the 1920s, for example, to place on buffets tables or in windows. The folded, hand-sewn, shade with its slightly conical shape got its expression during this pre-modernist period. The shade is attached to the associated brass rod, which distinguishes it from simpler models where the shade is clamped onto the bulb itself. This means that the shade does not run the risk of getting oblique but always sitting straight.
