Serving tray with pattern by the designer William Morris (1834-1896). Made in Sweden.
William Morris was active in the late 19th century as one of the premier figures in the British Arts and Crafts movement. He is mostly known for designing distinctive wallpaper and textile patterns that are still in production.
The pattern "Indian" was printed for the first time in 1868-70 and is in this version a highly stylized and dramatic pattern in white, blue and black.
Eco-labeled with FSC certification, which stands for the Forest Stewardship Council, an independent, international member organization that works for environmentally-friendly, social responsibility and economically viable use of the world's forests.
